About Clean The Cans

My journey into the trash bin cleaning industry started long before I ever owned a business. As a sophomore in high school, I was looking for ways to earn extra money, so I'd walk around my neighborhood knocking on doors and asking homeowners if I could pressure wash their trash bins. The cans were filthy, my equipment wasn't exactly professional, and I probably made a few lawns messier than I would've liked. But I quickly learned something that has stayed with me ever since: almost everyone has dirty, smelly trash bins, yet very few people realize there's a solution.

I always knew I wanted to own a business, so I studied finance in college to prepare for that goal. That's also where I met my wife. Coincidentally, she had experience cleaning trash bins while working for a waste hauling company in Washington, where part of her job was cleaning returned bins before they went back into service.

At first, I never imagined we'd build a business around trash bin cleaning. That changed when a friend told me about companies across the country that were thriving in the industry. After researching the business, testing specialized equipment, and seeing the difference professional cleaning could make, my wife and I decided to take the leap and launch Clean The Cans.

Since then, we've professionally cleaned more than 25,000 trash bins throughout the Treasure Valley and have earned over 1,000 five-star Google reviews. We're proud to help homeowners enjoy cleaner, healthier, and better-smelling trash bins while providing the reliable, friendly service we'd want for our own family.
